Reconditioning
Reconditioning is a cost effective alternative to purchasing new tyres for large or heavily constructed OTR tyres. Retreading is an efficient solution for foam filled Arnco flat-proofing tyres because the solid liquid filling doesn’t need replacement when the tread wears away.
We use the Auto Clave System to cure our reconditioned tyres and the Monarch Repair System for oversize tyres.
Reconditioning or retreading enables our customers to achieve a longer life from their tyres before needing to purchase new ones.
This process adds rubber to the tyre that can be re-grooved into the required pattern (or left smooth, if they’re going racing). Once the new rubber has been added and the tread has been grooved, the tyre is placed into the Auto Clave to heat the new rubber so it bonds to the tyre.
Auto Clave System
Auto clave tyre vulcanisation plays a pivotal role in ensuring the durability, performance, and safety of tyres by chemically transforming natural or synthetic rubber compounds into a resilient, stable material by using heat (140-160°C / 284-320°F) and pressure.
